In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top Film & Television applications on the Android platform in Latin America showed varied performance trends. According to Sensor Tower data, here’s how the top five apps fared.
Disney+ experienced fluctuations in its weekly revenue, which peaked at around $1.56M in the last week of December. Downloads were highest in early October with approximately 480K, while active users saw a resurgence in late December, reaching about 14.8M.
HBO Max: Stream TV & Movies maintained steady weekly revenue, peaking in late October at roughly $1.01M. Downloads varied, with a notable increase in early November to about 666K. Active users grew towards the end of the quarter, reaching over 10.4M.
Crunchyroll showed consistent revenue, with a peak of around $552K in late October. Downloads started strong with 495K in early October but decreased towards the end of the quarter. Active users, however, saw an upward trend, closing the year at approximately 8.5M.
ViX: TV, Deportes y Noticias had a notable increase in revenue mid-November, reaching about $476K. Weekly downloads fluctuated slightly, with a peak of 311K at the start of the quarter. Active users saw a decline, ending the quarter with approximately 5.8M.
Finally, Globoplay: Novelas, séries e + showed a revenue increase in mid-November, peaking at $483K. Downloads were relatively stable, with a high of 190K in late November. Active users experienced a dip mid-quarter but recovered to around 9.3M by the end of December.
